The purpose of the Herpetology Club at Eastern Illinois University is to expose the student body and local community to the ecological importance of reptiles and amphibians on a communal and global scale. Additional goals include the group effort of learning proper care and handling techniques of these animals and extending information about them through outreach efforts.
