Welcome from the Chair

Dr. Edward M. Treadwell, Chair

Hello there and thank you so much for your interest. You should know that good things are happening in the Chemistry and Biochemistry at 91成人视频, that you can be a part of.  We鈥檝e just added two new tenure-track faculty members (Dr. Michael Beck and Dr. Steven Pellizzeri) and will be searching for another (to teach analytical chemistry) this year.  We鈥檝e recently expanded our degree options to include an accelerated BS/MS degree as well as a BA degree, along with redesigned degrees in biochemistry.  

But what about you?  If you want a solid education to launch a career in science, medicine, sales, or education, we do that.  If you want to do cutting-edge research and present it at conferences and/or publish it in scientific journals, we do that. If you want to learn in lectures and labs from energetic faculty who know you by name, we do that. 

You鈥檝e got a lot of choices about the type of degree to pursue in our department.  Let鈥檚 talk about which one is the best fit for your interests. And please let us know your questions or if would like to visit. We look forward to meeting you!
